Large-scale painting using acrylic, graphite, charcoal, and hand-stitched wool in soft neutral whites, blues, and charcoals. Textured artwork for luxury interiors, organic homes, and coastal design.

I am endlessly fascinated with the way nature finds order in chaos. Roots wander, rivers branch, and weather shifts course, yet there is an underlying sense of balance that holds everything together. In Aura, I wanted to capture that feeling of quiet organization—forms appearing, dissolving, and reconnecting across the surface. The composition unfolds slowly, inviting the eye to wander and to discover relationships that may not be immediately apparent, much like the patterns that reveal themselves when we spend time observing the natural world.

Built through layers of acrylic paint, graphite, charcoal, and hand-stitched tapestry wool, the work reflects my ongoing interest in combining painted gesture with tactile intervention. Soft neutrals, atmospheric blues, and deep charcoal passages create a restrained palette that allows texture and movement to take precedence. The stitched elements weave through the composition like physical drawings, reinforcing some forms while disrupting others, and creating a surface that rewards close looking.

At 40" x 40", Aura brings a calm but distinctive presence to an interior. Its palette and material richness make it particularly well suited for contemporary, modern organic, and coastal-inspired spaces where texture and craftsmanship play an important role. Whether placed in a living room, bedroom, entryway, or office, the painting offers a sense of quiet depth that continues to reveal itself over time.over time.
