Inner Orbit explores the movement of a flock of birds not as a literal scene, but as a trace—an abstract record of spatial organization. Soft arcs, looping lines, and layered forms suggest motion through space, overlapping and shifting as if tracking multiple trajectories at once. The composition feels quiet and suspended, more like a memory of movement than the movement itself, with a sense of rhythm that builds through repetition and variation.

The palette is understated, built from pale neutrals, soft greys, and muted warm tones that gently emerge and recede. Acrylic paint creates thin, atmospheric layers, while graphite introduces the linear elements—loops, sweeps, and directional marks that guide the eye across the surface. The contrast between the hazy painted areas and the more defined graphite lines gives the piece a light structure without making it feel rigid.

At 20" x 20", this work is well suited for more intimate placements. It would fit naturally in a bedroom, hallway, or office, either on its own or as part of a small grouping. The work could be used to add a sense of movement to a quiet space, especially in interiors that lean minimal or neutral. Its soft palette makes it easy to pair with natural materials like wood, linen, and stone, while the linear elements add just enough energy to keep the space from feeling static.
